“I cannot live without books,” said Thomas Jefferson. That’s why I write this blog. I love books (and hopefully they love me). I love bindings, paper, and ink. I love the words and ideas themselves. I love typography and page layout. I cherish the time I spend in the library (and can’t wait till I’m a librarian and get paid to be there ).

I originally wrote about bookstuff in my main blog, Top of the Mountains, but since this is going to be my life’s work, I figured I probably ought to have a separate blog for it. So here we are. Here I’ll talk about books (of course), bookmaking, libraries, reading, and anything else that’s related.
